The foundational truths of Scripture that guide our faith and practice
Our beliefs are firmly rooted in the Holy Scriptures—the inspired Word of God. We hold to the essential truths of the Christian faith while maintaining our distinctive understanding of the Sabbath and God's commandments as revealed in Scripture.
The essential truths that form the foundation of our faith
We believe the Bible—both Old and New Testaments—is the inspired, infallible Word of God. It is our supreme authority in all matters of faith, doctrine, and daily living.
We believe in one God—eternally existing as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. The Father is the Creator of all things, Jesus Christ is the Son of God and our Saviour, and the Holy Spirit guides and empowers believers.
We believe Jesus Christ is the Son of God, born of a virgin, who lived a sinless life, died for our sins, rose from the dead, and will return again. He is our Saviour, Lord, and High Priest.
We believe salvation is a gift from God, received through faith in Jesus Christ. We cannot earn salvation by our works, but are saved by God's grace through faith in Christ's atoning sacrifice.
We believe the seventh-day Sabbath (Saturday) was instituted by God at Creation as a day of rest and worship. It remains a perpetual sign between God and His people, and we observe it from Friday sunset to Saturday sunset.
We believe God's Ten Commandments remain binding as an expression of His will and character. Empowered by the Holy Spirit, believers keep God's commandments out of love and gratitude for salvation.
We believe the Church is the body of Christ, composed of all true believers. Local congregations gather for worship, fellowship, teaching, and service, carrying out Christ's mission in the world.
We believe in the literal, visible, personal return of Jesus Christ. He will raise the dead, judge all people, and establish His eternal kingdom. This blessed hope motivates our holy living and faithful service.
Essential aspects of the Christian walk
We practice baptism by immersion as a public declaration of faith in Jesus Christ. Baptism symbolises the believer's death to sin, burial with Christ, and resurrection to new life.
We believe the Holy Spirit indwells all believers, empowering them for godly living and Christian service. The Spirit guides us into all truth, convicts of sin, and produces spiritual fruit in our lives.
We invite you to study the Scriptures with us and discover the rich truths of God's Word. Our Sabbath School classes and Bible studies are open to all who seek to know God better.
